  1. A couple years ago I was trying to find a model for some new paintings. In the small town where I live, that is not always an easy task. So I looked into some software where I could load up a model and pose her however I needed. Packages like Poser and DAZ Studio were made for this very thing – at least initially. I started out with Poser but everything about that program seemed counter-intuitive to me. My alternative was DAZ Studio. I tried it out and fell in love. Beyond its ability to pose figures for my paintings, I discovered an amazing and fun way to create my graphic novel. Since that time I have been learning all about 3D graphics – and there is a lot to learn!
